People venturing into the southeastern Alaskan forest have come back with bite marks resembling that of a shark attack victim, and babbling about eyes in the darkness, staring back at them. Another creature striking fear into the hearts of people in the area - this time in Murphysboro Illinois, has been described as a large white-haired beast that leaves a black oily mud-like ooze in its wake. With the citizens of Murphysboro terrified, the local police have initiated a "manhunt" for the creature - which had lain low for more than a quarter century before its recent resurfacing around the town.
